I'm Peter Garr, a Los Angeles area photographer specializing in wedding photography throughout California and beyond. I'm based in the City of Santa Clarita, which is about 35 miles north of Downtown Los Angeles. I'm available to shoot weddings and engagement sessions throughout the United States and worldwide.
I specialize in "hybrid" wedding photography in which I mix candid photojournalistic storytelling with contemporary yet classic portraiture. I've been shooting weddings since 2004 and have experience shooting weddings in all types of settings, from intimate arrangements to grand extravaganzas. Indoors and outdoors. Day and night. On land and at sea.

* I'm a native of Los Angeles. I was born in Hollywood and raised in the San Fernando Valley.
* I've been married since 2004 and have two young kids that I adore with all my heart. One boy and one girl. One boy and one girl. Being daddy is the best thing ever!
* I love all types of music. I'm especially fond of jazz, classic rock, punk rock, indie rock, and metal. My tastes are very eclectic.
* I'm of Armenian descent. My full name is actually Peter Garabetian. Peter Garr for short.
* I’m a big fan of NPR and all public radio. My favorite stations are KCRW in Santa Monica and KCSN in Northridge.
* I use professional Canon DSLR cameras for shooting weddings and engagement sessions, but my favorite point-and-shoot camera is my beloved Apple iPhone.
